#30daysofbiking: Day 18

April 18, 2012

Deja vu or not. Last week when I went to a concert I may have dozed a bit waiting for a light to change during my after-morning commute. Last night I saw Mayer Hawthorne and the County at the 9:30 Club – another sold-out awesome show. Trying to wake up this morning reaffirmed how “awesome” it was (the light rain didn’t motivate either). I chose to go intermodal today – the luxury of foldies.

For most of the day the Dahon sat idle in a windowless office.  Rain or shine, fun should not be canned.

Trapped

With a break in the weather this afternoon, I decided to take the long way back to the metro by way of the Paint Branch Trail.  The rain seemed to have awakened the woods as vibrant shades of green bursted with life.

That Dahon looks like a really sweet little bike. They pack an awful lot into a small package don’t they? Love the leafy detour on the way back from work too – therapy for the soul! 🙂
